Job summary

POOLCORP is seeking candidates for the Management in Training - Operations (MIT) program at SCP Distributors #129 in Lakewood, NJ. The six-month, hands-on training covers distribution center operations, management, and purchasing, with state-of-the-art training facilities in Plano, TX.

Upon completion, graduates may pursue nationwide supervisor or manager roles. Eligible applicants hold a Bachelor’s or Associate degree with a 2.5 GPA, demonstrate leadership and problem-solving capabilities, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree with GPA 2.5 or higher in a related field.
• Leadership and/or problem-solving experience.
• Willingness to relocate during/after the program at company expense.
• Ability to travel ~25% of the time.
• Ability to operate and maneuver heavy equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Receive hands-on training across distribution center operations, management, and purchasing.
• Observe experienced staff to learn methods and performance standards.
• Shadow contractors, service, and retail customers to understand the industry.
• Attend classroom training at the EDGEucation Center in Plano, TX.
• Deliver a final presentation to senior management after the program.
