Job summary
Schindler Elevator Corporation in Denver, CO offers a 12‑month Operations Management Program designed to develop future leaders with hands‑on field exposure, structured training, and mentorship. You will gain experience in maintaining elevators, escalators, and moving walks, while learning safety, product knowledge, and financial acumen.
The program comprises three phases, with opportunities to relocate to host locations if a permanent field superintendent role is not yet available.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or other relevant field of study preferred.
- Candidates MUST be open to relocation (company‑assisted) to select cities upon completion of the program.
- Previous military or other leadership experience is highly desirable.
- Prior work experience or internships in construction, service/maintenance or related industry a plus.
- Strong customer service, organizational and communication skills.
- Affinity for understanding technical/mechanical systems.
Responsibilities
- Learn field operations through three phases to build leadership and technical proficiency.
- Collaborate with local leadership and mentors to manage field exposure and projects.
- Prepare for potential placement in local, territorial, or national vacancies after graduation.
