Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking an Operations Management Associate as part of an 18-month Leadership Development Program. The role includes three rotations in one facility focusing on lean transformation, supply chain, and operations leadership.

Participants receive training in EHS, lean six-sigma, and coaching for high performance, while collaborating cross-functionally to improve safety, customer service, delivery, quality and cost.

Qualifications

• Currently a college senior enrolled in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or Engineering with Business minor.
• Demonstrated knowledge and application of lean concepts.
• Relevant internship or co-op experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; project management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand and improve processes; develop leadership skills and business acumen.
• Learn and apply lean concepts to optimize use of personnel, materials, and facilities.
• Assist and lead Lean activities and Kaizen events with cross-functional teams.
• Assist in designing and improving manufacturing methods and control systems.
