Job summary

Target is offering an Operations Internship in its Supply Chain organization. You’ll gain hands-on leadership experience in a dedicated facility, mentoring team members, and learning how to drive daily priorities while ensuring safety and quality.

As an Operations Intern, you’ll work with mentors to understand different business areas, lead shifts, and develop problem-solving skills through real-time observations and performance reviews.

Qualifications

• Participation in school or extracurricular activities and leadership roles.
• Experience leading a team and coordinating tasks.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor team members on daily priorities.
• Coordinate with managers to plan shift goals and workload.
• Monitor safety, quality, and productivity during operations.
• Apply CI methods (Gemba, Fishbone, 5 Whys) to improve processes.
• Support IT Operations as needed and help resolve system issues.
• Provide feedback and coaching to teammates to drive performance.
