Job summary

Target is offering a Supply Chain Operations Internship that provides hands-on leadership experience within a Distribution Center environment. As an Operations Intern, you’ll learn how to lead, motivate, and influence a team while working alongside managers to drive daily results.

You will develop skills in problem solving, safety, and process improvement, with mentorship from experienced leaders and exposure to multiple areas of the supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor team members to build a culture of safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to prioritize daily goals.
• Assist in planning shift coverage and workload to meet targets.
• Monitor KPIs (safety, quality, productivity) and drive improvements.
• Participate in daily planning meetings and provide performance updates.
• Support CI initiatives and standard work implementations.
• Coordinate with IT and operations on system issues and testing in WMS.
• Provide feedback and coaching to peers to enable leadership growth.
