Job summary

Target is offering an Operations Intern program that provides hands-on leadership experience in a supply chain facility. You will work with managers and team members to lead daily operations, drive productivity and safety, and learn how Target’s supply chain functions operate at scale.

You will receive extensive training, mentorship from a Supervisor and exposure to multiple business areas while developing leadership skills and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Interest in retail and supply chain leadership.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading daily operations on the facility floor.
• Support daily priorities and KPI tracking including safety and productivity.
• Help implement process improvements using CI methods.
• Coordinate with IT and operations to address system issues in WMS.
• Mentor teammates and promote inclusive leadership.
• Participate in internship training and development activities.
