Job summary

Target is offering an Operations Intern role in Kentucky within our Supply Chain Facilities. This paid 40 hr./week hands-on program develops operations leadership, with mentorship and exposure to daily duties, planning, and performance reviews.

You will learn to lead, problem solve, and drive results while ensuring safety and quality, joining a team focused on continuous improvement and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Participation in school or extracurricular activities and experience in leadership roles.
• Strong interest in working in retail, specifically within our supply chain facilities.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Spend time on the facilities floor helping to lead amongst team members and align the team in daily business priorities.
• Maintain a high standard of quality/inventory accuracy through standardization of processes and quality risk analysis.
• Track KPIs such as safety, teamwork, quality and productivity to identify gaps and drive actions.
• Lead process improvement initiatives using CI methodologies to create lean operations.
• Provide coaching and feedback to team members to foster growth and inclusion.
