Job summary

Rinchem Company, Inc. is hiring an Operations Manager to lead operations and development of customer services. You will manage a local team, recruit and train staff, and report to an Operations Director.

You will drive budget adherence, safety compliance, and continuous improvement across warehousing and distribution activities while coordinating with the Director and Accounting. Growth opportunities exist in a dynamic, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 4 Year Degree or equivalent in a relevant field or successful warehouse management experience.
• Minimum of four years of progressive responsibility in a warehouse or logistics setting.
• Experience with Six Sigma Lean principles and demonstrated understanding of application to logistics industry.

Responsibilities

• Works with Director to understand budget and control local expenses in accordance with budget expectations.
• Execute day-to-day operations, lead local team, escalate issues, and implement strategy with Director input.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations; advise stakeholders on required actions.
• Coordinate with Safety, Health, and Environment teams.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by physical counts and WMS reconciliation.
• Collaborate with Facility and Asset Management to optimize warehouse layouts and equipment needs.
• Communicate with Operations Director and Accounting to meet financial objectives.
• Schedule staff to meet stakeholder requirements; coach and develop warehouse staff.
