Job summary

White Cap is hiring immediately for an Operations Leader Trainee in its Career Development Program. You will engage in on-the-job training, job shadowing, and leadership development as you rotate through branch operations, customer service, and systems training over a 12–18 month program.

This on-site role in California offers a robust benefits package, paid time off, and the chance to grow into senior operations leadership while contributing to major construction projects across the region.

Qualifications

• Willing to relocate upon completing the program.
• Able to start the program between March and June.
• Driven to succeed with an energetic, professional, and goal‑oriented attitude.
• Strong operations focus, including having the ability to partner with customers to develop value‑added solutions and experience leading or building a team.
• Strong communication skills and experience conversing with team members and customers.

Responsibilities

• Engage in on-the-job training, job shadowing, and leadership development during the program.
• Rotate through branch operations to learn business systems and processes.
• Partner with customers to develop value-added solutions.
• Build experience leading or contributing to a team.
• Present a capstone project to White Cap leadership.
