Job summary

Roadrunner is seeking an Operations Support role to provide essential administrative and operational support that keeps inbound and outbound freight moving efficiently, documentation accurate, and drivers on schedule. This onsite position at Dallas, TX serves as a central coordination point among drivers, operations teams, customers, and internal stakeholders.

The role focuses on minimizing delays, ensuring timely communications, and maintaining organized workflows to support terminal

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of administrative, logistics, transportation, or related experience.
• Strong knowledge of business English and professional written communication.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities and effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, customers, vendors, and external partners.
• Proficient typing skills, including the ability to type approximately 35-40 words per minute.
• Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals.

Responsibilities

• Support daily freight operations; assist with driver check-in and distribute manifests to dock personnel.
• Maintain documentation accuracy; review BOLs, DRs, and related records.
• Coordinate customer communications and scheduling; serve as a reliable contact for inquiries.
• Resolve OS&D issues; document discrepancies and update OS&D personnel.
• Provide cross-functional administrative support; backfill duties and assist special projects.
