Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Operations Manager in Wisconsin (La Crosse area) to lead a team of salaried and hourly staff, drive safety, quality, attendance, and delivery performance, and mentor associates across shifts. You will use data-driven decisions and problem-solving to improve productivity and customer service.

The role includes a 6+ week in-role training at an operating site located 50+ miles from the home site, with travel accommodations arranged and paid by Amazon; you will manage

Qualifications

• 3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
• Flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your team.
• Lead large-scope projects with site and regional impact.
• Create and implement productivity plans through forecast reviews, determining productivity requirements, and partnering with other Leaders to load balance.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention and Human Resources to develop plans to meet business objectives.
• Lifts up to 49 pounds and works a shift lasting up to 12 hours; may include weekends or overnight shifts.
