Job summary

Our client in Dallas, TX is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a 90,000 square foot facility with five to six operating departments, overseeing warehouse operations, logistics, and event support to ensure flawless client events.

You will coach department managers, manage labor planning and budgets, analyze P&L, KPIs, and operational data, and partner with Sales to execute on-site events.

Qualifications

• Proven operations leadership experience in a fast paced, labor intensive environment such as event rental or services.
• Experience managing a large facility with multiple departments and a workforce of 100+.
• Strong financial acumen including P&L, budgeting, cost centers, and KPIs.
• Ability to create and manage operating budgets and analyze operational data.
• Fleet management experience is a plus.
• Excellent leadership presence with a solutions-focused style.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of a 90,000 sq ft facility across five to six departments.
• Oversee warehouse operations, logistics, delivery/pickup scheduling, and inventory readiness.
• Coach department managers and staff, promoting accountability and continuous improvement.
• Manage labor planning, staffing levels, and budgets; monitor costs and performance.
• Analyze P&L, scorecards, KPIs, and labor efficiency to identify improvements.
• Partner with Sales and other departments to ensure successful client events.
• Provide operational guidance on logistics, feasibility, and costs during client planning.
• Step into warehouse or on-site duties during peak demand and lead by example.
