Job summary

Legends Global at the PA Convention Center is seeking an Assistant Director of Operations to oversee daily activities required to execute, maintain, and service the facility and events. You will supervise the Set-Up Services team and coordinate with Operations Managers to ensure readiness and smooth operation of events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with major in Management or Maintenance Engineering; additional experience may substitute education.
• Minimum of 2 years’ supervisory/management experience in a similar facility.
• Must be able to work flexible and extended hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Directs, supervises, and schedules the Event Set-Up Services portion of the Department.
• Partners with Operations Managers in executing duties.
• Coordinates the Operations activities with other departments and event-related contractors to assure facility readiness and smooth operation of events.
• Oversees and reinforces department protocols for equipment storage and cleanliness of the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
• Assists the Director of Operations with the preparation of the Annual Operating Budget and recommends a capital budget for 1-year and 5-year long-range repairs and improvements to the facility.
• Investigates, analyzes, and resolves operational problems and conducts periodic staff meetings.
