Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience in events facility operations.
  • Experience with budgeting and operation line items.
  • Knowledge of event setup and maintenance of facility equipment.
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines and pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze event service orders and prepare work plans for setup/tear-down crews.
  • Assist in monitoring inventory control.
  • Supervise the work of set-up and tear-down crews.
  • Safely operate equipment such as vans, forklifts, and lifts.
  • Provide training for part-time operations staff.
  • Coordinate with departments and contractors to ensure readiness.
  • Develop preventive maintenance schedules and safety procedures.
  • Prepare and negotiate Service Agreements with vendors.
