Job summary

BrightView is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee daily branch operations, drive efficiency, and ensure compliance with company policies. You will manage staff, resources, and workflows to hit financial and operational targets while delivering excellent customer service.

The role emphasizes forecasting labor, procurement, safety, reporting KPIs, and cross-department collaboration to support branch growth and project delivery.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a landscape or business-related field, or equivalent experience in a service-based industry
• Minimum 7 years of experience in the construction or landscaping industry
• Minimum 2-3 years of management experience within the landscape or service industry
• Qualified Applicator License (Pesticide or Fertilizer) preferred
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, as well as company systems such as FSM, BrightPath, and MFP/WAR calls.
• Experience with mobile applications, including retrieving email, accessing and using mobile applications, taking, and sharing pictures
• Proven ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving work environment.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Ability to create and foster a team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day branch operations to achieve financial and operational targets
• Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness
• Supervise, train, and develop staff, conduct performance evaluations
• Execute weekly and monthly labor planning, monitor expenses and resource allocation
• Source products from vendors and manage inventory to meet demand
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements
• Track KPIs and report branch performance to management
• Maintain high standards of customer service and jobsite quality
• Coordinate operational projects and cross-department collaboration
• Plan for future resource needs and ensure capacity to meet demand
• Communicate operational strategies with internal and external partners
