Job summary

True North is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee daily store operations in Dublin, OH. You will lead staff, hire, train, and schedule; ensure strong guest experiences with fast, friendly service and a clean store environment.

You will manage staffing, inventory, labor, cash controls, and maintenance needs. Responsibilities include providing floor leadership, handling customer concerns, processing POS transactions, and keeping the store compliant with safety and cash-handling procedures.

Qualifications

• Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior customer service or cashier experience.
• Previous experience supervising others is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide active, visible floor leadership during shifts, supporting team members in real time.
• Provide prompt, courteous customer service in accordance with company standards.
• Accurately process customer transactions using point-of-sale systems.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
• Perform assigned food service tasks following food safety and sanitation requirements.
• Perform interior and exterior store duties necessary to support daily operations.
• Act as the manager-on-duty during assigned shifts in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Recruit and train new team members.
• Run daily reports, reconcile shift sheets, and banking procedures.
