Job summary

True North is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee daily store operations in our Ohio location. This role partners with the Store Manager to hire, train, and schedule staff, and to ensure a fast, friendly guest experience across all shifts.

You will lead by example, manage labor, inventory, cash controls, and maintenance, and assist with scheduling, performance coaching, and escalation when needed. Your leadership will help maintain safe, clean, and compliant store operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior customer service or cashier experience.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide active, visible floor leadership during shifts and coach team members.
• Deliver prompt, courteous customer service in line with company standards.
• Accurately process customer transactions using POS systems.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
• Recruit and train new team members and assist with staffing as needed.
• Support store operations during high-volume periods and promotions.
