Job summary

Amrize is seeking an Operations Manager for Dundee, MI, responsible for overseeing all operations within a defined market and product line. You will drive productivity, customer service levels, and employee retention while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes strategy execution, budget preparation, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous process improvement to reduce costs and improve performance. Frequent travel within the region is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 7 years of equivalent experience.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Field of Study: Operations Management, Business, Civil or mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• Required Technical Skills: Microsoft Office and SAP.
• Travel: Frequent travel to company and customer sites in the region. Less than 10% travel out of the region.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and drive strategy execution within a defined market and product line.
• Manage employee productivity, operational efficiency, and customer service levels.
• Support regional P&L targets and cross-regional resource leverage.
• Prepare operating budgets and conduct cost and KPI reviews.
• Maintain safety and environmental compliance with local stakeholders.
• Improve processes to reduce turnaround times and boost process efficiency.
• Analyze KPIs and develop recommendations to increase productivity.
• Collaborate with management to address customer service, union, and fleet concerns.
• Motivate teams and foster a positive, high-performing culture.
