Job summary

BrightView Landscapes is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day branch operations, ensuring efficiency and safety. You will manage staff, resources, and workflows to meet financial and operational targets while complying with company policies.

Responsibilities include process improvement, labor forecasting, procurement, safety, and performance reporting using BrightPath and Power BI. Travel within the branch territory may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in landscape or business-related field, or equivalent experience in a service-based industry
• Minimum 7 years of experience in the construction or landscaping industry
• Minimum 2-3 years of management experience within the landscape or service industry
• Qualified Applicator License (Pesticide or Fertilizer) preferred
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, as well as FSM, BrightPath, and MFP/WAR calls
• Experience with mobile applications, including email, mobile apps, photos
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to create and foster a team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

• Process Improvement and Efficiency: analyze processes and implement changes to enhance productivity
• Team Leadership and Development: supervise, train, and evaluate staff
• Forecasting and Labor Management: manage weekly/monthly labor planner within budgets
• Procurement and Inventory Management: source vendors and manage inventory
• Safety, Compliance and Risk Management: ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards
• Reporting and Performance Metrics: track KPIs and use BrightPath/Power BI for decisions
• Customer Service, Satisfaction, and Jobsite Quality: uphold service and quality standards
• Project Management: lead operational projects on time and within scope
• Resource Planning: plan staffing, equipment, and tech needs
• Collaboration and Communication: coordinate with internal teams and external vendors
