Job summary

SnapDragon Associates, LLC seeks an experienced Operations Leader to run the day-to-day building materials distribution operation, overseeing warehouse, logistics, inventory, safety, and team performance.

This hands-on leadership role focuses on developing people, improving processes, and creating structure and accountability across a fast-paced operation in Burlington, VT. You will drive safety, efficiency, and customer-focused service while partnering with sales and branch leadership.

Qualifications

Experience leading and developing teams in distribution or construction products.
Strong warehouse, distribution, logistics, or transportation experience.
Proven ability to drive productivity and efficiency improvements.
Ability to establish processes, procedures, and accountability.
Comfort with operational systems and Excel reporting.

Responsibilities

Lead daily warehouse, distribution, transportation, and inventory operations.
Manage and develop supervisors, warehouse employees, and drivers.
Drive improvements in productivity, workflow, quality, and efficiency.
Establish strong processes, procedures, and accountability throughout the operation.
Track operational KPIs and utilize reporting tools to identify areas for improvement.
Maintain a strong focus on safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
Partner with sales and branch leadership to support customer service and business objectives.
Coach and develop employees while building a strong operational culture.
