Foundation Building Materials is seeking an Operations Manager to lead daily branch operations with emphasis on safety, service, and results. You will drive efficiency, manage dispatch, warehousing, transportation, and vendor relations while guiding a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Management or related field.
• Minimum of 2+ years of management experience.
• Knowledge of construction materials and product distribution.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate overall operations to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Plan, develop, and implement operational policies across warehousing, transportation, and customer service.
• Design and manage dispatch systems to improve logistics and workflow.
• Implement operational changes and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor and manage operating budgets for warehouse, manufacturing, and transportation functions.
• Ensure trucking operations comply with DOT regulations.
• Oversee warehouse conditions, equipment, and storage utilization.
• Coordinate with purchasing and receiving teams to ensure timely product arrivals.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers and vendors.
• Research and implement technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive business information.
