Job summary

QXO is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead daily warehouse, yard, inventory, shipping, and receiving—ensuring safety, efficiency, and customer focus in a fast-paced building materials environment.

You will partner with Sales, Purchasing, Transportation, Shop, and branches to maintain accurate material flow, optimize storage, and drive continuous improvement while coaching a hands-on team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse, distribution, or building materials operations.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills with a hands-on approach.
• Proven ability to lead safety, inventory accuracy, and customer service improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily warehouse, yard, inventory, shipping, and receiving operations.
• Coordinate with Sales, Purchasing, Transportation, Shop, and branches.
• Drive process improvements to enhance safety, productivity, and service levels.
• Coach and develop operational staff and manage staffing, scheduling, and attendance.
