Webstaurantstore is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee inbound and outbound operations, including receiving, picking, packing, consolidating, shipping, inventory control, and returns. You will champion productivity improvements and ensure staff training and safety.

Lead up to 30 employees, monitor daily metrics, drive efficiency, and maintain high customer satisfaction in a fast-paced distribution environment. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in operations leadership.
• Experience working in a distribution environment preferred.
• No formal degree required; relevant skills and experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day decisions regarding input, movement, process, and output of operations.
• Supervise up to 30 employees; coach, train and develop staff in best practices.
• Monitor metrics and resolve operating issues; oversee corrective actions.
• Communicate department goals and company policies clearly to teams.
• Lead meetings to review metrics, improvements, and quarterly initiatives.
• Ensure staffing levels and safety regulations are followed.
• Identify opportunities for productivity and cost improvements.
