Job summary

WebstaurantStore is seeking candidates for a 14-week rotational leadership program focused on operations and supply chain management at our Savannah, Georgia warehouse. The program covers inbound to outbound processes and includes exposure to Receiving, Picking, Packing, Consolidating, Shipping, Inventory Control, and Returns.

It aims to prepare participants for off-shift leadership roles within the distribution center.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day decisions of the assigned department/shift regarding performance, process and leadership.
• Learn and understand the process of each department/shift, identify areas of improvement.
• Engage in leadership discussions and apply WebstaurantStore leadership principles to daily work.
• Monitor metrics for departments; identify and resolve operating issues; assist with corrective actions and progressive discipline.

Job Summary

Our rotational program is designed for candidates who are interested in pursuing a leadership career in the field of operations and supply chain management.Our 14-week program will teach you about each area of our supply chain as well as obtain a functional and practical knowledge of The WebstaurantStore's goals and initiatives.During the program you will have the opportunity to experience each segment in our day-to-day operations from inbound to outbound.Some of these areas may include but are not limited to Receiving, Picking, Packing, Consolidating, Shipping, Inventory Control, and Returns.In each area of training you will be challenged to develop new ideas and tools to not only support the growth of our business but also ensure that the best service is being delivered to our customers.The goal of this position is to prepare you for an off-shift leadership role in our Savannah, Georgia warehouse location.

Upon successful completion of the program, you will have the opportunity for a possible leadership position with The WebstaurantStore's leadership team.In this leadership role you will be held accountable for the day-to-day decisions regarding the input, movement, process, and output of operations to assure increased quality, inventory accuracy and service. This position is responsible for providing clear and frequent communication to all teams on the distribution center productivity company policies and procedures.An essential function of the leadership is to motivate employees to keep pace with our explosive growth - while maintaining challenging deadlines.
