Job summary

MSB’s Connectivity Solutions team seeks a seasoned Business Operations Lead to create and optimize the operating foundation for a 19-person remote technical group. You will design practical workflows, dashboards, and tools to bring visibility and accountability, ensuring commitments are visible and followed through.

You will partner with HR, Finance, Marketing, and Project Controls to turn priorities into organized action, while not making staffing or budget decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in business operations, program/project coordination, or PMO support.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Strong organization, communication, business judgment, and follow-through.
• Experience building dashboards, KPIs, reports, or tools to improve visibility and execution.
• Strong Microsoft 365 skills, especially Excel, Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, and PowerPoint, and comfort learning new systems.
• Ability to work independently, solve loosely defined problems, influence without authority.
• Experience in professional services or project-based environments is helpful.
• Experience with resource planning, utilization, ERP/business systems, dashboards/reporting, or AI-enabled workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build operating foundation for a remote technical team with clarity and follow-through.
• Design and improve workflows, calendars, meeting rhythms, action tracking, and supporting tools.
• Track priorities, milestones, owners, and next actions; prepare progress updates.
• Coordinate performance reviews, goal setting, training, certification, mentoring, and development processes.
• Maintain resource-planning information to inform leadership decisions.
• Build dashboards, scorecards, reports to measure routines and initiatives.
• Identify obstacles and explore tech, automation, and AI to improve efficiency.
