Job summary

MSB Consulting Engineers, Connectivity Solutions department, seeks an experienced Department Operations Lead to design and continuously improve the operating system, calendars, meetings, and measurement tools, strengthening execution and accountability.

You will translate leadership decisions into clear communications, coordinate performance reviews and development plans, and foster collaboration across engineers and staff while reducing administrative burden.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading operations in a professional-services or engineering environment.
• Ability to design repeatable processes and operating systems.
• Strong communication and coaching skills for managers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and continuously improve the department operating system, including calendars, routines, meetings, action tracking, and tools.
• Convert leadership decisions into clear employee communications and maintain an accessible archive.
• Coordinate annual performance reviews, goal setting, and development plans; monitor progress and ensure follow-through.
• Support manager-employee development rhythms and align processes across teams.
