Job summary

University of Vermont Health is seeking an Operations Support Specialist to lead patient experience initiatives and provide high-quality customer service to patients and visitors. The OSS supports the Practice Supervisor by coordinating work activities, resolving problems, training staff, and contributing to staff evaluations.

Serving on the site-based leadership team, the OSS participates in process improvements to meet Medical Group performance expectations and supports overall clinic

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Business or related field is preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a relevant healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead by assisting the Practice Supervisor in coordinating work activities and resolving problems.
• Provide training and orientation for staff and participate in performance evaluations.
• Contribute to process improvements to support the Medical Group's performance expectations.
• Support site-based leadership and clinic operations.
• Assist in coordinating activities across the patient flow and service delivery.
