University of Vermont Medical Center is seeking an Operations Support Specialist to act as a lead in patient experience and contribute to high-quality service for patients and visitors. The OSS assists the Practice Supervisor in coordinating activities, resolving problems, and shaping staff performance through training and evaluations.

This role is part of the site-based leadership team and supports all clinic operations while driving process improvements to meet Medical Group performance

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Business or related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead by assisting Practice Supervisor in coordinating work activities.
• Resolve problems and provide training and orientation to staff.
• Participate in performance evaluations of support staff.
• Support site-based leadership and oversee all clinic operations.
