Job summary

University of Vermont Medical Center is seeking an Operations Support Specialist to lead and support patient experience by coordinating clinic operations, training staff, and contributing to performance evaluations. The OSS acts under the Practice Supervisor and participates in process improvements to meet performance expectations.

The role is part of the site-based leadership team, responsible for all clinic operations and enhancing the overall patient and visitor experience.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Business or related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a relevant healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead by assisting Practice Supervisor in coordinating work activities, resolving problems, training, orientation and performance evaluations of support staff.
• Contributes to process improvements to meet Medical Group performance expectations.
• Functions as part of the site-based leadership team and is responsible for all clinic operations.
