Job summary

Amrize is seeking an Operations Manager to drive production and distribution objectives for asphalt plants, mentor teams, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance. The role includes overseeing purchasing, inventory, CAPEX projects, and budget adherence across multiple sites.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, 3–5 years of supervisory experience, and strong ERP (SAP) and MS Office skills. Local travel across several states is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 3–5 years of supervisory experience.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP), Google Mail, and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Local travel throughout Maryland, DC, Virginia, West Virginia and Pennsylvania required.

Responsibilities

• Attain production and distribution objectives for assigned asphalt plants and mentor staff to meet quality and productivity targets.
• Interface with other functions to ensure safe, efficient facilities and processes; oversee material purchasing and inventory.
• Deliver on CAPEX and special projects; manage budgets, expenditures and reporting; support continuous improvement efforts.
