Job summary

Target is seeking an Operations Intern to gain hands-on leadership experience in a Target Supply Chain Facility. The paid internship runs 40 hours per week and focuses on developing operations leadership through hands-on training and daily team leadership on the warehouse floor.

As an Operations Intern, you will help lead the team, maintain quality and safety standards, and participate in continuous improvement activities using CI methodologies.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership in school or extracurricular activities
• Experience leading teams in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead team on the facilities floor and align daily priorities
• Support daily planning meetings and shift planning to meet targets
• Coach team members and provide timely performance feedback
• Conduct safety walks and audits to ensure standard adherence
• Participate in CI initiatives using Gemba, 5 Whys, and Fishbone analyses
