Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in USA Lancaster seeks a General Manager of Operations. This high-visibility leadership role is responsible for strategic direction, operations, compliance, and financial results for a designated facility.

You will champion Lean, Six Sigma, ISO initiatives, manage budgets, and develop client relationships while ensuring safety, quality, and timely service. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred with 7+ years in logistics and 5+ years in leadership; MS Office skills

Qualifications

Must have a high school diploma or GED.
Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
7+ years of experience in logistics/distribution/relevant environment.
5+ years of leadership in logistics/distribution/supply chain operations management.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

Oversee the strategic direction, operation, compliance, and financial results for a designated operation.
Serve as primary client interface for proposal approval and contract negotiations.
Lead Lean, Six Sigma, and ISO initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
Develop and manage annual operating budgets and control costs.
Foster productive relationships with vendors, clients, and partners; ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
