Job summary

DSV seeks a General Manager to oversee a key US operation, directing strategy, safety, and performance. You will drive Lean initiatives, manage budgets, and assure client satisfaction, while coordinating with senior leadership on growth plans and ISO compliance.

You will lead a high-performing team, mentor staff, and partner with vendors to deliver reliable, cost-effective logistics solutions in a dynamic warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 7 years in logistics/distribution; 5 years in leadership.
• Must be able to lead safety, quality and ISO compliance.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations strategy, direction, and financial results.
• Lead continuous improvement and Lean/Six Sigma initiatives.
• Develop and manage annual operating budgets with senior leadership.
• Ensure safety, security and regulatory compliance across the site.
• Cultivate client relations and drive successful account reviews.
• Mentor and develop site leadership and staff.
