Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Denton, USA, seeks a General Manager of operations. This highly visible leadership role directs strategy, operations, compliance and financial results for a designated site, acting as the primary customer interface for proposals and contract negotiations while championing Lean, Six Sigma and ISO initiatives.

You will also develop marketing plans, grow new business, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards while aligning with corporate mission

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred; 7 years’ experience in logistics/distribution.
Experience leading operations with P&L responsibility is desirable.
Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, ISO and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Oversee strategic direction, operation, compliance and financial results for the operation.
Serve as the primary customer interface for proposals and contract negotiations.
Lead Lean, Six Sigma and continuous improvement initiatives at the site.
Develop and manage annual operating budgets and pricing in coordination with leadership.
Ensure safety, security, quality, and regulatory compliance across the operation.
