Job summary

DSV is seeking a General Manager of Operations for the Lancaster, USA area. You will oversee the operation's direction, compliance, and financial results while serving as the primary client interface for proposals and contracts.

The role emphasizes LEAN initiatives, ISO requirements, and continuous improvement across the site. The GM will drive budget planning, partner with senior leadership, and mentor site teams to meet safety, quality, and performance objectives in a fast-paced logistics

Qualifications

Must have a high school diploma or GED.
Bachelor's degree is preferred.
7 years experience in logistics/distribution environment.
5 years leadership experience in logistics/supply chain operations.
Ability to work in variable warehouse temperatures.

Responsibilities

Oversee strategic direction, operations, compliance and financial results for the operation.
Lead continuous improvement and Lean/Six Sigma initiatives.
Develop and manage annual operating budget with senior leadership.
Ensure safety, security and regulatory compliance across operation.
Foster client relations and contract negotiations at site level.
Manage vendor relationships and performance with partners.
