Job summary

DSV has a General Manager, Operations role in the United States focusing on strategic direction, operations and financial results for a designated facility. You will lead Lean, Six Sigma and ISO initiatives, while driving client relationships and new business development.

The GM will champion continuous improvement, manage budgets and collaborate with senior leadership to deliver top results aligned with corporate goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Budgeting and P&L management experience required.
• At least 3 years of experience in an operations management related position.
• 4-Year College Degree preferred, will consider equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee manpower, recruitment, retention and development of people.
• Ensure procedures exist at all sites to guarantee client service, productivity, and maintenance.
• Sets goals to provide continuous improvement for assigned site.
• Actively support and oversee safety programs and maintain compliance.
