Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance of association properties and equipment in California. The role reports to the Manager and interfaces with residents, guests, and staff, managing daily tasks and urgent repairs.

The position requires supervising onsite teams and coordinating with vendors, performing routine preventive maintenance, and ensuring safety and compliance across facilities.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to coordinate with onsite team members and vendors.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversees onsite team members and vendors as assigned.
• Takes direction from the Manager or Board and works as directed.
• Follows daily/weekly schedules to complete tasks.
• Reports repairs needing follow-up to the Manager.
• Performs plumbing, electrical, and fixture repairs as needed.
• Maintains and cleans restrooms, pools, and outdoor areas.
• Sets up and breaks down event spaces per banquet orders.
• Maintains pool operation and records in accordance with health requirements.
