Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking an Operations Manager to support the Property Manager in daily association operations in a Miami setting. You will oversee deliveries, contractor activity, and building safety, with responsibility across day and evening shifts and reporting incidents to the Property Manager and Maintenance Supervisor.

The role requires strong knowledge of building systems and hands-on experience in capital projects, vendor coordination, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Five years of progressive operations management experience.
• Knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and life-safety.
• Experience coordinating capital projects, vendor procurement, and consultant engagements in high-rise or mixed-use environments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shared facilities and operational matters with vendors and the Board.
• Track project schedules, contracts, budgets, change orders, and major milestones.
• Administer vendor solicitations and ensure contractual compliance.
• Provide updates to the Board on active projects and vendor activity.
• Supervise on-site maintenance staff and manage performance.
