Job summary

Coastal Waste & Recycling in Lantana, FL is seeking a Dispatcher to keep daily routes running safely and on schedule.

You will coordinate with Drivers, Operations, and Maintenance, monitor routes, and respond to changing priorities with clear communication to ensure exceptional service.

The role requires strong organization, problem-solving, and customer service mindset, plus experience with dispatch software and GPS; bilingual preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience using dispatch software, GPS systems, or transportation technology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily routes and communicate with Drivers and Operations throughout the day.
• Monitor route progress and adjust schedules as operational needs change.
• Partner with Operations, Customer Experience, and Maintenance to resolve service issues and support efficient operations.
• Communicate route changes, delays, customer requests, and operational updates to field teams.
• Monitor vehicle locations and operational activity using company technology and dispatch systems.
• Maintain accurate dispatch records and documentation.
• Respond quickly to changing priorities while balancing safety, customer service, and operational efficiency.
• Build positive working relationships with Drivers, supervisors, and cross-functional teams.
• Support special projects and other operational initiatives as assigned.
