Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years in dispatch, transportation, logistics, or route-based operations.
• Supervisory experience with hiring, coaching, and developing employees.
• Strong understanding of dispatch operations, route coordination and service delivery.
• Experience monitoring productivity metrics and driving improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead, hire, train, coach, and develop a team of Dispatchers with clear performance expectations.
• Oversee daily dispatch operations, ensure routes are assigned, monitored, and completed on schedule.
• Coordinate staffing, equipment, and daily route coverage with District Manager and Operations.
• Establish dispatch procedures, communication protocols, and service standards to improve efficiency.
• Build relationships with municipal contacts and provide proactive service updates and timely resolution of concerns.
