Coastal Waste & Recycling is seeking a Dispatcher to keep our operations moving safely, efficiently, and on schedule. You will coordinate routes with Drivers, communicate with field teams, and support the day-to-day logistics across Operations, Customer Experience, and Maintenance.

Ideal candidates bring strong communication and organizational skills, the ability to stay calm under pressure, and experience with dispatch software or GPS tools.

Formación

• Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to stay calm and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
• Customer-service mindset with cross-department collaboration.
• Experience with dispatch software, GPS or transportation tech is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Creole preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate routes and communicate with Drivers and Operations daily.
• Monitor route progress and adjust schedules as needs change.
• Collaborate with Operations, Customer Experience, and Maintenance to resolve issues.
• Communicate route changes, delays, and requests to field teams.
• Track vehicle locations and dispatch activity using company systems.
• Maintain accurate dispatch records and documentation.
• Respond quickly to changing priorities while balancing safety and service.
• Build positive relationships with Drivers and cross-functional teams.
• Support special projects and other initiatives.
