Job summary

Samaritan's Purse is seeking an Operations Coordinator to join the Donor Ministries team in North Wilkesboro, NC. The role focuses on travel and expense reporting, audits, asset management, and supporting daily finance activities.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree with 1–3 years of related experience, plus knowledge of planned giving tools. This is a full-time, on-site position offering a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and one to three years of related experience preferred.
• Twelve credit hours of Biblical studies strongly preferred.
• Poised, alert, hospitable presence and servant-hearted demeanor.
• General knowledge of planned giving tools such as wills, trusts, gift annuities, etc.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and be a witness.
• Serve as the department's point person for travel and expense reporting, advising staff.
• Audit and process expense reports in accordance with IRS and ministry requirements.
• Assist Operations Manager with training for travel and expense procedures.
• Support daily finance activities including p-card reconciliation, check requests, donor refunds, and invoices.
• Oversee inventory and movement of Donor Ministries assets across locations; handle work orders.
• Other duties as assigned.
