Job summary

Samaritan's Purse in North Wilkesboro, NC seeks a Bilingual Disaster Relief Beneficiary Service Coordinator to support the North American Disaster Relief team. The role focuses on beneficiary intake, eligibility, and confidential case management, with travel to field locations as needed.

You will interview applicants, compile documentation, and assist with the application process while maintaining strong communication with affected homeowners and partners.

• Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent and 2–3 years related experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Identify best-matched NADR beneficiaries based on need and eligibility.

• Maintain confidential documentation and file records for each beneficiary.
• Communicate with beneficiaries and assist during the application process.
• Travel to field locations to assist with Case Management for Short-Term Needs.
• Take inbound/outbound calls to assist homeowners affected by disaster.

We are seeking a Bilingual Beneficiary Service Coordinator to join our North American Disaster Relief team in North Wilkesboro, NC. Through humanitarian work, the goal and purpose of Samaritan's Purse are to help people in Jesus' name and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

In the role of a Bilingual Beneficiary Service Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to:

• Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ
• Work with potential NADR beneficiaries to identify best-matched candidates based on need, eligibility and other program criteria. Interview applicants and gather pertinent background information including financial history.
• Maintain proper documentation and tracking to ensure successful completion of each project. Keep detailed files of each beneficiary's needed documentation, ensuring the data is kept strictly confidential.
• Communicate and minister to beneficiaries, keeping them informed during the application process and assisting in their requests.
• Travel to field locations to assist with Case Management for Short-Term Needs Programs as needed.
• Take inbound/makes outbound phone calls to serve homeowners affected by disaster, needing assistance with rebuilding their homes, and assisting with overflow calls as needed.
• Other duties as assigned

As a qualified candidate, you will have the following skills and experience:

• Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and two (2) to three (3) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Intermediate technology skills.
• Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines.
• Highly effective communication and written skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to change.
