Job summary

Gopuff is seeking an Operations Associate to join the site operations team in Portland, ME. You will report to the Site Leader and perform duties from picking and packing to receiving product and coordinating with drivers. This role may involve kitchen-related tasks at some sites.

Responsibilities include inventory checks, FIFO compliance, waste management, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Experience in a restaurant or retail environment preferred.
• Ability to work a fluid schedule and be available during peak shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts).
• General working knowledge of basic web-based software applications (Google G-Suite).
• Stand and walk for the duration of an assigned shift.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack items for dispatch to customers.
• Receive and unpack pallets of product and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage inventory and re-shelving of canceled orders.
• Clean and organize sales floor and facility.
• Follow FIFO to manage waste and spoilage.
• Contact customers for substitutions or out-of-stock items.
• Handle, scan and move product safely.
• Work in freezer locations periodically.
• Prepare, package and stage/handoff orders.
