Job summary

Crane Cartage LLC in Houston, TX is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to monitor shipments, manage data entry in the TMS, and coordinate with carriers to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and proficiency in Excel. Collaboration with account teams and carrier partners is essential for maintaining service levels.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the status of shipments from pickup through delivery.
  • Enter shipment location, date and time into TMS.
  • Contact carriers and drivers via phone, email or internet to determine driver location.
  • Escalate potential or existing service failures to Carrier Sales and Business Development.
  • Work closely with Account Managers, Account Executives and Carrier Sales Representatives to meet service level expectations.
  • Secure shipment and carrier documentation (bills of lading, PODs, etc.).
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job description
