Job summary

SEI Corporation is seeking a Mutual Fund Control Analyst to join the US Operations team. The role focuses on multi-currency fund transactions, accuracy in settlement, and client-facing interactions with internal and external partners.

You will engage in daily operational processing, data entry across multiple systems, and timely handling of client inquiries while maintaining confidentiality and quality. The position emphasizes teamwork, problem-solving, and adherence to SEI's values.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree and/or equivalent work experience required.
  • Preference in: Accounting, Finance or Business related field.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Access and Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Basic processing and/or service activities specific to team function.
  • Reviewing, analyzing, and entering client information and transactions into multiple systems.
  • Setting up securities, general account level maintenance, and some level of client contact.
  • Respond to client inquiries in a timely, accurate and professional manner.
  • Working on special projects as needed.
  • Perform research & analysis of root cause conditions.
  • Implement solutions as assigned.
  • Interact effectively with multiple operational processing teams.
  • Maintaining the highest level of confidentiality, quality and privacy.
  • Manage a time-sensitive delivery schedule.
  • Interface with Operating units and business units, such as Reversals Team, Reconciliation Team, Corporate Actions/Income, and Treasury Management Team, as required to provide awareness of processing problems as they arise.
  • Submit trading orders in the market on the behalf of our clients both internal and external.
  • Other duties as assigned

Job description

As a Mutual Fund Control Analyst the role requires a self-motivated, goal-oriented individual to work in a team environment, manage multiple tasks in a time-sensitive delivery schedule. The Mutual Fund Control team handles multi-currency transactions related to custody of global and domestic mutual funds. This position will deal with international and domestic counter-parties ensuring the trading accuracy and timely settlement of these mutual funds transactions. The Mutual Fund Control Analyst role will have daily interaction and work with both Internal and External clients. This position will also provide coverage and support to team members, and will be called upon to assist with related activities within US Operations. The individual must be able to handle these situations in an efficient, professional manner, with quality and completeness.
