Job summary

SEI's Investment Manager Services Division (IMS) is seeking an Operations Analyst for the Institutional Transfer Agency Team. You will assist in daily, monthly, and periodic tasks within Hedge Fund Transfer Agency and Investor Servicing, including investor reporting and adherence to standards.

You will engage clients professionally, process trades with accuracy by set cut-offs, maintain shareholder accounts, perform cash reconciliation, and help resolve system issues with internal/external

Qualifications

  • BA / BS in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent professional experience. Internship experience preferred. Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities

  • Engage with internal and external clients, on the telephone and in person in a professional and accurate manner
  • Undertake and process all trades received by telephone or transmission by established cut-off times with 100% accuracy and quality
  • Maintain and update shareholder accounts and navigate Transfer Agent system
  • Ensure client and investor deliverable requirements are met on a daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual basis
  • Perform daily cash reconciliation and produce client reports
  • Process shareholder wire reports and custody money movements and assist with issue resolution
  • Assist with communication within the department and with investors, clients, and audits
  • Support various trading products
  • Participate in IMS and corporate development sessions to identify process improvements

Job description

The Investment Manager Services Division (IMS) at SEI is growing rapidly and is seeking new members on our Institutional Transfer Agency Team. The Operations Analyst is responsible for assisting the staff with the daily, monthly, and other periodic functions within the Hedge Fund Transfer Agency and Investor Servicing department. You will also assist in investor reporting and follow standards and procedures.

What You Will Do
  • Engage with internal and external clients, as well as teammates, on the telephone and in person in a professional and accurate manner
  • Undertake and process all trades received by telephone or transmission by established cut-off times with 100% accuracy and quality
  • Maintain and update shareholder accounts. You will also navigate efficiently throughout the Transfer Agent system
  • Ensure that client and investor deliverable requirements are met on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Perform daily cash reconciliation. You will also produce client reports
  • Process shareholder wire reports and custody money movements. You will work to assist in the resolution of programming and systems issues and requirements with internal and external support organizations You will elevate and assist with problem and error resolution on a timely basis (with documentation). Follow strict departmental procedures and controls and maintain zero tolerance for error
  • Assist with communication within the department, as well as with the investor, client, financial reporting and internal/external audit
  • Support various trading products

What We Must Have From You
  • BA / BS in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or equivalent professional experience. Internship experience preferred. Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel
  • The self-motivation, organization and aim to complete multiple client deliverables in a timely manner without sacrificing excellence or quality
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills as you will primarily support your clients through email and/or phone calls
  • Strong customer service skills as you will be communicating daily with your clients and other service providers
