Job summary

Silver Bay Seafoods, LLC is seeking an Operational FP&A Manager to lead the financial direction of our operations in Seattle. The role partners with plant managers, department heads, and an analyst to align planning with strategic objectives in a fast-paced environment.

You will build robust financial models, oversee budgeting and forecasting, analyze plant-level performance and KPI trends, and provide executive commentary to steer margin improvement and data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or accounting is required.
• MBA or CPA designation is a strong positive asset.
• 5 to 8 years of progressive finance experience; CPG, Food & Beverage, or Seafood industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive the operational planning process aligning with strategic objectives.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling with accuracy.
• Direct plant-level financials, SKU profitability, and KPIs to improve margins.
• Prepare detailed operational financial reports with executive commentary.
• Manage and mentor an operational analyst for development.
• Provide financial insights with cross-functional department leaders.
• Evaluate processes to drive efficiency, automation, and data accuracy.
• Perform other duties to support team goals.
