Job summary

Sims Metal is expanding its North America Metals FP&A team in Jersey City, NJ. The FP&A Manager will support regional commercial and operations finance, delivering analytical insights to improve margins and reduce costs across the region.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related discipline preferred.
• 3+ years of analytical experience, contributing at a leadership level.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint with strong numeric skills and willingness to learn Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Analyze trading margins by supplier, segment, material group and region to identify margin opportunities.
• Provide analytics to regional commercial teams to inform investment and growth initiatives.
• Develop standard reports to reveal margin contributors by supplier or category.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and capital management across regional operations.
• Collaborate with SAP S4Hana and ERP teams to ensure accurate reflection of performance.
