Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a senior operations leader to drive the rollout of the Operating System, emphasizing labor management and KPI achievement. You will support strategic and tactical goals across distribution and fulfillment while coaching teams and collaborating with IT and customer stakeholders.

The role requires a strong background in Lean/Six Sigma, safety culture, and cross-functional leadership to optimize costs and service levels in a dynamic 3PL environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5–7 years in a distribution center or transportation environment.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and CI tools.
• Welfare: DOT/OSHA/FDA knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and structure implementation of operating system with focus on labor management and KPI attainment.
• Provide strategic and tactical operational support.
• Promote Operational Excellence and safety/quality culture through training and audits.
• Manage cost reduction initiatives and resource allocation across services.
• Develop professional presentations for internal/external management.
• Coordinate with IT to ensure accurate operational reporting.
• Ensure efficiency, quality, and customer service; support facility maintenance.
• Build relationships with operations teams and customers; drive standardization.
• Drive coaching and leadership development within area of responsibility.
